Using mount.cifs parameters: mount.cifs $volume $backupvolme -o credentials=$file,ro,uid=user,gid=user,forcedirectio Tried options cifs CIFSMaxBufSize=130048, gave errors in combination with mount option forcedirectio while using rsync.
