Sorry, I found an answer to the ERROR: (0x03:0x0101): Invalid command opcode:opcode=0x85 problem:
http://kb.lsi.com/Print16532.aspx : "This error can be safely ignored." https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=666416 : "Some monitoring utility is sending requests to the controller that it doesn't like. You could try erasing the gnome-system-monitor and smartmontools packages and see if that helps." I chose to ignore this message now. :) These answers made me realize that apart from the warning, my problem does not seem anything to do with the bug described here. So sorry for the noise... ** Bug watch added: Red Hat Bugzilla #666416 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=666416 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/618542 Title: 3ware 9650SE issue - dpkg segfaults, hangs To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/618542/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
