to clarify, I have one of those flash pages in my session (1 tab out of n 
tabs), not the one being focused.
If I close the browser, reboot, login, restart the browser, i see the ghost on 
the focused tab. Some colors are transparent, and i see the flash applet behind.

It also often corrupts the desktop (the wallpaper) and other gnome apps.

It stops if i a/ close chromium or b/ close the tab with the flash
applet or c/ focus that tab (it seems to re-parent itself).

Once chromium is closed, the problem doesn't re-appear until the next
reboot.
