Lenovo Y530 (Nvidia G96) also affected. System worked perfectly under 10.04, after upgrade to 11.04 window operations are very slow, from time to time desktop freeze (no action for a few secs) happens. Switching Unity off does not help much.
Maybe worth noting: Wine applications seem to be particularly strongly affected.
