Should we transfer this discussion to the proper page (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/780408)? Because I think we are in the danger of going off-topic here. :-P What about my backlight problems? Even with th i915.alse_backlight-1 command there are some minor problems on my screen. It sis still stretched. Sometimes the typing cursor stops flashing or it even completely disappears. Sometimes some parts of an actice window (like mozilla) disappear revealing my desktop background below them. Last but not least I get a little "trembling" of certain parts of the screen when I e.g. launch a program on the upper panel. I'm just asking for a bright screen when I am logging in my computer that is also fully adjustable with fully working hotkeys. I'm just asking for normality. Is it too much? :-) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/773740 Title: 11.04 --DARK SCREEN--Need a lamp to see -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
