Here is the problem in detail. The sound problem occurs in both kernels
and with the i915.alse_backlight=1 command upon boot. On the standard
kernel the computer resumes with a single button press, I get a screen
without backlight and the mouse cursor "swimming" in that screen with no
purpose since there is nothing to click on but blackness. On the kamal-
without-the-i915.alse_backlight=1-command kernel, I get nothing, not
even the mouse pointer. The difference is that I cannot resume with a
single key press; I have to press the power button to resume. Instead
when I press other keys I see that the flashing orange light on my
laptop(which indicates that I am in suspend mode) corresponds to my
press and it flashes in synchronization with my presses. Same goes with
the kamal-with-the-i915.alse_backlight=1-command. The same apply as
before but this time there is a swimming-in-blackness mouse pointer as
in case 1. The orange light issue still applies here.
