I just typed [sudo setpci -s 00:02.0 F4.B=a1] (where a1 is a brightness value, 
for example if you type F4.B=80 you get a medium brightness, if you type 
F4.B=01 you get a very satisfying result--this is what I typed) Everything is 
fine now although I can't seem to be able to adjust my brightness if I ever 
need to with the Fn-Right or Fn-Left buttons on my laptop.Anyway, at least I 
can work now.
