Neal McBurnett, I dont know why you are worried about the bug status of someone else's bug which they have closed themselves.
All I'm saying is what the kernel QA team prefer. Kernel team want each person to file their own separate bug, so that the bug will contain all the system details they require to investigate each person's bug.
