Thanks for the good explaination. Your Idea with the *notification* is
really nice. I know this is not the right place for discussions, but
anyway, there are two points that are important for me:

For me, personal, it is a bug. It doesn't "appear" that a function has
been removed. It HAS been removed. A function that was there before and
is away now is a regression. And we have the first users in our forums
that are confused about this.

But I totally agree with your last statement.

Beside of this: is this only happening with bash, or can I, as a User
that don't likes this behaviour, choose another system-wide shell?
