If you execute the command
sudo dpkg --configure bcmwl-kernel-source
does the same error message show up again?

It asked for my password and this was the result

oem@dell-desktop:~$ sudo dpkg --configure bcmwl-kernel-source
[sudo] password for oem:
dpkg: error processing bcmwl-kernel-source (--configure):
package bcmwl-kernel-source is already installed and configured
Errors were encountered while processing:
 bcmwl-kernel-source

And yes the system is running, Ubuntu is beautiful for a Visita user :-)

Cheers
