It definitely is interesting, because it confirms that your original problem has disappeared.
I do not see any remaining problem with update-manager or bcmwl any more. Your system seems up-to-date with lucid. Please keep an eye on your system with respect to updates. You should once in a while (e.g. every week) check with update-manager if there are updates for your system - and in case there are problems when applying them report this again. (Remark: Your system is on release lucid 10.04 LTS. To keep your system on supported versions you can either stay on 10.04 and upgrade to the next LTS release which should be delivered in April 2012 ("12.04"), or you upgrade to the non-LTS releases 10.10, and then to 11.04 and 11.10 and finally to 12.04 LTS without the possibility to skip one.) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/720700 Title: package bcmwl-kernel-source 5.60.48.36+bdcom-0ubuntu3 failed to install/upgrade: -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
