It definitely is interesting, because it confirms that your original
problem has disappeared.

I do not see any remaining problem with update-manager or bcmwl any
more. Your system seems up-to-date with lucid. Please keep an eye on
your system with respect to updates. You should once in a while (e.g.
every week) check with update-manager if there are updates for your
system - and in case there are problems when applying them report this
again.

(Remark: Your system is on release lucid 10.04 LTS. To keep your system
on supported versions you can either stay on 10.04 and upgrade to the
next LTS release which should be delivered in April 2012 ("12.04"), or
you upgrade to the non-LTS releases 10.10, and then to 11.04 and 11.10
and finally to 12.04 LTS without the possibility to skip one.)
