Attached the output of
udevadm monitor
udevadm monitor --property
dmesg
from one session where I plugged in the device some minutes after booting. The
logs contain also the effects of issuing 'sudo modprobe option' about a minute
later - manually separated by a string of ++++++++++++.

If there is anything I can provide in addition to this please feel free
to ask.
