Clint, I'm not sure what you are trying to achieve by what you're doing. I feel this ticket actually took a step back by the changes you made, but I'll leave them as they are. Are there not enough tickets open that you could have a look at without interfering in a ticket that somebody else is already taking care of for the moment? I don't quite understand your motivation, but if you want to take over, feel free. I certainly have no objection.
Feel free to contact me by mail if you feel the need to discuss process, but I'd rather not argue about this. I'd rather work on actual tickets. FWIW, I don't see any conflict of my work with the wiki page you mentioned. I don't reread the wiki pages every week but I've been doing this long enough that I know what works for me as well as Ubuntu. I kindly suggest you pick your own tickets to work on, your crowding out somebody else is really not necessary or helpful. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/588624 Title: upstart fails to boot without initrd -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
