In my case, on a laptop Dell Vostro 1510 hung script from the package
pm-utils 1.4.1-r1, namely pm-powersave. I copied all the scripts from
/usr/lib/pm-utils/power.d in /etc/pm/power.d and withdrew from all the
execute bit - thus blocking scripts from /usr/lib/pm-utils/power.d .
Then removing them one by one found that the computer hangs in the
performance pcie_aspm. I will try to examine the issue more deeply, if
possible.
