** Description changed: i'm using feisty on an amd64 machine. since the newest update this morning, which brought me kernel 2.6.20-14, my ndiswrapper doesn't connect to my WPA secured network any more. using the old kernel 2.6.20-13-generic, ndiswrapper works again. my network card is a broadcom BCM4310, but i can't use the bcm43xx driver as the network speed with this driver is less than a tenth of the speed with ndiswrapper... + + edit: ops, it's actually working with the new kernel by now. but since + one of the last ubuntu-updates, i sometimes can't connect to my wpa- + network (both kernels), modprobe -r ndiswrapper then modprobe + ndiswrapper doesn't work, i have to reboot. so feel feel free to delete + this report... *g
