Jonathan: The problem I need solved is the following:
In KDE-Resources, there are three addressbooks installed and active: - /home/user/.kde/share/apps/kabc/std.vcf (vcard), - /home/user2/.kde/share/apps/kabc/std.vcf (vcard, read only) and - akonadi-resource Some weeks ago, I remember having had those three addressbooks in kaddressbook. Now, kadressbook instead shows two seeming empty addressbooks: - "Personal Contacts" (/home/user/.local/share/contacts/) and - "akonadi_vcard_resource_1" (/home/user/.kde/share/apps/kabc/std.vcf) After closing/restarting kadressbook, no addressbook at all is shown anymore. Same problem with the Address module in kontact. With kaddressbook erraneously showing those "empty" addressbooks (or none at all) rather than the installed ones, I can (obviously) neither read nor edit addresses in the installed ones. My problem is not only that I cannot read nor edit addresses, but that kaddressbook fails to show addressbooks contents. Did you mean to suggest adding the existing addressbooks in kaddressbook *in addition* to the definition in the KDE-Resources? Or should I first remove them from the KDE-Resources? -- kaddressbook fails to show addressbooks contents https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/676173 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kdepim in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
