Hmm, might be that the SKU is wrong. I've made a small test package to see if 
that's the case:
1) Uninstall any ALSA driver overrides if you have installed those
2) Download and install 
http://people.canonical.com/~diwic/temp/alsa-hda-realtek-ignore-sku-dkms_1.0.23.diwic_all.deb
3) Reboot
4) Check if things are working better
5) Post an alsa-info according to http://wiki.ubuntu.com/Audio/AlsaInfo
