After some more testing, it appears it is the File menu which overrides my existing systray icon menu. I don't think the File menu should be forced on the systray icon if it already has a menu.
Also, I managed to get the global menu to be shown by doing as follows: 1. Run qbittorrent -> The global menu is not shown 2. Click on the systray icon to hide the main window 3.
