That maybe the case for you,however. the current version of feisty had the
*script* removed from the package thus rendering  the installing useless to
the end user. That is what i was bringing to the dev's attention.

As for dvd's running them on a clean edgy install they ran fine for
me,however. I'm not sure if you can do a clean install,and retest. this
would at least allow you to find out if the issue was due to your
dist-upgrading from dapper to edgy.
