Actually gdb reports: eading symbols from /usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/sip.so...(no debugging symbols found)...done. Reading symbols from /usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/PyQt4/QtCore.so...(no debugging symbols found)...done. But apt-get says: python-qt4-dbgsym è già alla versione più recente. python-sip-dbg è già alla versione più recente. Which means "is already at the latest up-to-date version". So I don't know where to search for missing symbols.
