I do seem to have the above, but spell checking doesn't work. Here is an test string you can check abiword spellchecking:
Σήμερα είναι Κυριακή . Λάθως (this translates, Until fullstop: Today is Sunday. ( The prase is correct), After the fullstop: Mistake ( the word is spelled incorrectly, the correct spelling is Λάθος ) OpenOffice word, can identify and suggests corrections for the above string.
