The log files looks perfectly normal, can't find any indication to way it crashed. There may be additional information in the gdm logfiles undet /var/log/gdm.
Can you please run 'apport-collect 562739' from the guest system, it will collect the log files we need and some hardware information (which would be the simulated hardware VirtualBox provide).
