No, the fix is not present in Lucid's kernel yet. In comment 83 I noted that I have [today] requested that the fixed be merged into the next stable release of 2.6.32 [I couldn't find an e-mail address for you else I would have Cced you on the request to sta...@kernel], so the fix will end up in a Lucid kernel eventually. Of course, since the fix has already been merged upstream (in December), you can also use linux-alsa- driver-modules-$(uname -r) from ppa:ubuntu-audio-dev.
