I downloaded and upgraded to 'https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source /alsa-driver/+bug/141445' as requested but the internal mic still does not work.... so as requested I ran the following command in terminal 'apport-collect -p alsa-base 479373' the results are posted above.
