Thanks for the log. It looks to me as if the ALSA driver for your soundcard has a wakeup problem. I know there has been attempts to fix them in Lucid, but I'm not sure if they have fixed them 100% yet. My best bet would be to try a Lucid Live-CD and see if it works better there.
