I have the same errors in dmesg running Fedora 12. Linux localhost.localdomain 2.6.31.12-174.2.3.fc12.i686 #1 SMP Mon Jan 18 20:22:46 UTC 2010 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
I was running Centos 5.4 and everything worked perfectly. I needed newer software tools so I decided to give Fedora a try. I just did a fresh install this past weekend and my SD card has stopped working. I am getting some strange behaviour and bug reporter requesting I submit bugs for failing apps. So at this time the issue appears to be affecting my SD card reader. Not seen in a fdisk -l, nothing in the /dev directory to indicate that it recognizes the drive. usb 8-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 6 usb 8-1: device descriptor read/64, error -71 usb 8-1: device descriptor read/64, error -71 usb 8-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 7 usb 8-1: device descriptor read/64, error -71 usb 8-1: device descriptor read/64, error -71 usb 8-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 8 usb 8-1: device not accepting address 8, error -71 usb 8-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 9 usb 8-1: device not accepting address 9, error -71 hub 8-0:1.0: unable to enumerate USB device on port 1 -- device descriptor read/64, error -110 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/433438 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
