hello Pedro,

thank you for your response and time for me to apologize - I guess. the
iPod is 100% full (see below) and of course cannot store any more songs.
however, there are only 227 songs visible. I believe I did fill the iPod
with 'invisible' songs when trying gtkpod to manage songs on the iPod.

anyways, here the result:
df -hT "/media/LORENZS IPO"
Dateisystem Typ Größe Benut Verf Ben% Eingehängt auf
/dev/sdg1 vfat 7,5G 7,4G 42M 100% /media/LORENZS IPO

still, even though not a error, a wish is to be able to syncronize playlists.
any idea how to do this?

another wish: when I right-click on the iPod icon in Rhytmbox I'd like to see
"sync to iPod" which would sync the changes to the iPod. the "eject" command
doesn't syncroize changes to the iPod.
I removed a few songs from the iPod playlist in Rhytmbox, but they were still
on the iPod after I ejected. only if I delete the songs (move to waste bin) nd
then quit Rhytmbox and finally click on "secure remove" (german: Laufwerk
sicher entfernen) it syncronizes to te iPod. again, just remove the songs from
th iPod'splaylist did not work for me.

thanks again.
kind regards
Lorenz
