I do not think it the problem is in my system, I think the problem is 
that the software for running a internal floppy drive was just never put 
into 9.10 or the capacity to see or read one.  Prior to 9.10 in earlier 
versions in the package manager there was a programs called FLOPPY, it 
is not there in the current registry.  I would think that be it this 
desk top or a notebook that while the vedors and brand of the floppy 
might change and the type of controller the basic controller software 
that existed prior to 9.10 needs to be put back in so upon boot it can 
find the hardware and then run it.  I honestly think it is NOT MY 
COMPUTER it is 9.10 as I have reinstalled everything with a clean 
install and it still is does not work and diferently than it did when it 
went from Upgrade, and lost the function of the floppy in the process.
