Might be worth an update for Jaunty. When attempting to do a dist- upgrade on a client whose sources.list references an apt-cacher server without this fix, the dist-upgrade refuses to run due to the errors received from apt-cacher. I have so far been using the workaround of running "LANG=C sudo update-manager," but needing to find that workaround wasn't fun.
