Question regarding installing the psmouse.ko. I read someone where you can put the file in /lib/modules/2.6.31-14-generic/kernel/drivers/input/mouse and replace the psmouse.ko Is that true. I tried with my install and i lost my mouse completely on reboot.
Does the psmouse.ko have to match the 2.6.31.15-generic-pae? I looked at DMESG i saw psmouse : disagrees about version of symbol module_layout.
