I think this might have something to do with my other (and last) issue - the ALT+left/right move/resize windows one. With some button events not getting delivered OR being delivered as coming from a different device than actually generated them...
Because that's exactly what happens to me: A) hold PadRight, move Pad pointer = OK (all just Pad events) B) BUT hold PadRight (Pad event), move Stick pointer (Stick event) and the action switches to purely Stick events, as if StickRight + Stick pointer were doing it all along. First let's concentrate on events not getting lost, then I may assist you with detailed code paths within the driver causing my last issue. I'd insert some key printk's to see what's going on, it might be obvious for you then. It is, after all, possible that your HW revision behaves a bit differently.
