I'm not sure what you mean. Are you talking about the Linux user, or a PostgreSQL user, or just about the availability (or access to) the Postgres command-line utilities that you mention below? > If createdb is missing then Glom fails to create the database This should be avoided by the incomplete-installation detection in the latest version (1.3.9).
