Please move your /usr/lib/cups/backend/usb into your home directory and
then download this file

http://www.linux-foundation.org/~till/tmp/usb

and put it into /usr/lib/cups backend. Make it executable with

sudo chmod +x /usr/lib/cups/backend/usb

Then set up a print queue as usual, using the auto-detected entry of
your printer. Can you print normally now?

Note: My file is only for 32-bit architecture. If you are working with
64-bit or non-PC, do not install this file.
