krusader 1.80.0-beta1 contains over 40 changes, bug fixes and updates. near 6 months passed between 1.70.1 and 1.80.0-beta1 release, and krusader devs are active on the project.
lots of kubuntu people are fan of krusader. How "important", i don't know. After a quick popularity contest on #kubuntu-devel, i would say: yes. anyway, i asked upstream when 1.80.0 will be released.
