Unfortunately, it seems like your hardware is ahead of the Ubuntu repos. Fear not, for there are packages available. I actually had the same problem with my laptop. This will all be fixed in Karmic, but if you cannot wait: Install xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.7.1-0ubuntu1~xup~1 from: https://edge.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat/+archive/x-updates Install libdrm2 2.4.14-0ubuntu0tormod~jaunty and linux 2.6.30-10.12 from: https://edge.launchpad.net/~xorg-edgers/+archive/ppa/
