OK, my case is more serious: as of today, my keyboard and mouse are totally frozen at the kdm login window, just after booting. I have no means of logging in or doing ANYTHING. I can't even get a console by doing Ctrl-Alt-F1 or anything the like. I already rebooted twice to no avail. I am writing this off my jaunty installation. Is this the end of my karmic installation? Do I have to go with a complete reinstall? Any way to save it? Should I even reinstall it and try karmic again?
