Hi, I'm not a dev or maintainer, but have an end user example case. From my reading of this thread my understanding is that it'll be fixed in Karmic - woder if you could tell me if that's correct.
Kdenlive (video editor) requires libav*-unstripped in order to render and export videos OpenCV (computer vision library) depends on libav* (stripped), so you cannot have both packages installed. Is that now fixed in the ffmpeg-debian package, or is it rather that it should be fixed by the maintainers of one or the other or both of the example packages? thanks. -- libxxx-dev should be installable with libxxx-unstripped https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/312898 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
