How did you install it? I am using the latest version and I have no problem entering accounts for split transactions. For your case, you usually have a brokerage account. That is, a cash account used for investments. If you haven't created it at the same time as you created the investment, you can add it as a subaccount with the same name and "(Brokerage)" at the end. -- Split transaction won't allow an account https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/401205 You received this bug notification because you are a direct subscriber of the bug. Status in "kmymoney2" package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I am trying to use the split transaction feature to load my pay statements. I was using 0.9.2 and just upgraded to 0.9.3.cvs. Now when I try and enter the money taken from my pay for my 401K Account, the split transaction window wants to put that in a category. It's not a category, it's an account. I didn't have any problem before installing .9.3.cvs. In addition, I can't change the date on the edit field for any transaction. If I try, the "enter" option grays out. Is it possible to roll back to a previous version of the program? BTW system is Kubuntu Jackalope on intel pentium. -- Split transaction won't allow an account https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/401205 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
