rdesktop is run inside a VNC session, i.e. connect from desktop with
vncviewer to a server running vncserver, and start rdesktop there. There
was no problem running rdesktop locally (without -y, I did not try with
-y as it worked without it).

I reported the effects of keypresses, perhaps in a confusingly compact
form. The part "with itself/shift/altgr" meant that the '0' key should
produce '0' when pressed alone, '=' with shift key pressed, and '}' with
AltGr key pressed. Instead it produces '0' by itself (correctly), '0'
with shift ("ignored modifier") and nothing with AltGr. For the key to
the right of it the corresponding expected and actual results are "+?\"
and "??\" ("assumed modifier").

All the servers and desktops, Linux and Windows, have finnish keymaps.
