I've looked at that bug and still don't understand why pasting causes a crash. OOo shouldn't die. Failure to paste would be one thing. Crashing OOo is quite another.
Thanks for the pointer; I appreciate the help. Again, sorry for my abrasive tone earlier. I was/am most frustrated that a month went by with no response in this bug. It would have been awesome to see a pointer upstream sooner.
