This sounds similar. But the issue is restricted to one site that I know of (for me). On LiveScience.com, in the comments sections, next page and last page links do nothing in firefox but from windows using IE6 the same links work fine. The view first and last links work so it isn't a firewall issue and their forums work OK. ubuntu 9.04
