For some reason the hard wired buttons for the IBM T42 stopped working
when I reinstalled Jaunty. So found a solution that called for
installing "tpb" which stands for thinkpad buttons, After which I tried
running hibernate for some strange reason. After that I got the same
errors I usually do. It came up the point where it normally goes into
kernel panic and it didn't. It actually came back up with a few graphic
corruptions, it straightened itself out and came up fine. I have no
idea if this actually fixed the problem or if someone corrected the
problem somewhere along the way. I'm trying to write down the errors it
gives me, but goes to fast for me get all down in one shot.
