Kevin, do you believe that to be a bug in these particular builds, or are you just griping in general? :)
Personally, I've had really good results using H263-1998 between Jaunty Ekiga and a Nokia N800 internet tablet going over wired and wifi, just like you. The N800 was using telepathy's empathy, though, and not Ekiga. In any case, if you don't think it's a problem with these specific builds (and I doubt it is), maybe you should open a new bug to try to figure out what combinations of senders and receivers cause the problems.
