I agree with the above. As those are results of direct scsi commands and I have (at least one) a drive that works as expected. This invalidates the profile and returns "no profile" as soon as the cd is ejected. The question is whether there is enough data for userspace to make a sane decision. Somehow "blank" suggests the drive claims there is a media loaded while the track information is bogus. But that feels rather the drives firmware's fault.
