** Description changed:

  Suspend has never worked when I have the non-free nvidia drivers
  installed but when I have not it wakes up but the wired network no
  longer works. I am currently not able to get the wifi working so am not
  sure if this would have worked. The nvidia drivers are version 173 for
  some reason but it will not suggest 180.
