I can confirm that I have the same issue with Jaunty beta. when I connect my camera (Canon digital IXUS 80 IS) to my desktop, f-spot is not launched. I ran f-spot using the command ``f-spot --debug &> f-spot.txt'' and attempted to import manualy by selecting import from the menu then the camera. I got an error saying: >Error connecting to camera >Received error "Could not lock the device" >while connecting to camera
I then opened the camera from nautilus under computer and was invited to open camera using f-spot this time the import did proceed, but as the bug states, imported all my photos into the root of the home directory and not the Photos folder like in previous releases. I have attached the f-spot log, if any other information is required, I would be happy to help Alistair ** Attachment added: "f-spot log" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/24805119/f-spot.txt ** Changed in: f-spot (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- Imports all photos to the root of the home directory https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/354264 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
