I think this bug is underevaluted.

these are good steps to follow:
1) set to CRITICAL not HIGH
2) put SYNC for all devices in kubuntu-default-settings NOW (was to be done 3 
months ago)
3) code a better solution
4) test it
5) then upload to edgy-updates the solution and delete SYNC again.

3 months for a data loss bug? No guys this is for an unstable product, not for 
a "stable" desktop or server one.
I can say with better words and trying to be more diplomatic, but the truth is 
this.
