Note that in comment #1 mga driver is used with the same xorg.conf, but then different monitor was used. When using the Nokia monitor, display mode is forced to "Failsafe Graphics Mode". In comment #3 I have explicitly told system to use MGA driver, but as you can see in comment #4, VESA driver is still used.
