Interesting.  Where we have got to with the bug fix is a suggestion to  
update the firmware in my router ... but I am nervous of doing this  
because I have heard it can kill the router if anything goes wrong;  
and we rely on it for two desktops and three laptops!  So I am  
wondering whether having to power off using the hardware button rather  
than Ubuntu's shutdown command is such a big deal....
