Hi Ian, I tried this but still have the same problem. What happens is that, as part of the logout process from Ubuntu, I see the connection light on the router go out - regardless of whether it is a reboot or complete power off and restart. Windows is then unable to reconnect. The solution is that I have to boot back into Ubuntu - which reconnects to the network - and then use the hardware power off button on the PC to shut down without losing the network connection.
